The concept of "traveler, ramble, and waterfront" echoes the imagery of the hallway leading to the outdoor stage. No matter where they are from, travelers will always converge at the entrance to the outdoor stage. As they walk through the main hall, the circles they see are akin to the ripples that are created by their feet when walking across a water surface.

The artwork comprises a motor and mechanical structure that form the power installation driving the rotation of the disc. The uneven disc surface creates an undulating sensation when rotating like ripples moving through water. The patterns and rhythm of the disc culminate in lively, playful imagery that resonates with the relaxing vibes and unique characteristics of The Place Yilan.

Many traditional children's toys are capable of endowing ordinary objects with new life through the ingenious concept of rotation. Similarly, the artwork employs the mechanism of rotation in conjunction with stripes and colors to create the illusion of shadow play. Standing under the circle and looking up, one will be unknowingly drawn into the vortex that takes us to relive the vivid stories.
